Our 3D data models are modelled according to officially defined standards in buildingSmart-certified software. Modelling using buildingSmart-certified software ensures that the exchange within the defined common communication platform (CDE) of all parties involved is guaranteed in accordance with the IFC standard (Industry Foundation Classes Standard).

The IFC standard in accordance with DIN EN ISO 16739-1 defines, among other things, relevant project data and the associated pattern. The format structure of the BIM data is also specified by definition so that a smooth exchange between all parties involved is guaranteed. Furthermore, we model the content of our models on the basis of DIN EN 17412-1, which describes the information content, the so-called «LOIN» (Level Of Information Need), which is valid over the entire life cycle of the project to be realised. The project-specific LOIN document defines which information is required for a project (geometric and semantic) and in which phase the required level of detail must be provided. This ensures a consistent and collaborative way of working even beyond the project.
